Of course, April 1 is not only “How to Grow a Poem’s” first birthday, it’s also the first day of National Poetry Month in the U.S.
I have lots of praise for The Last Jazz Fan and Other Poems. It lives on my nightstand and when I need a poem, I reread a page or three. It does not disappoint.
Your poem "For the Names of Things" is my favorite in this collection. Bravo on the blurb from Marge Piercy by the way!
Thanks. Interesting choice. It's always interesting to me, and seldom predictable, what might strike a particular reader.
